Our Philosophy

Intentional Choices Birthing believes that every woman is empowered to make decisions as she sees fit for herself, her child, and her family.

When navigating the challenge of bringing new life into this world, the goal is to make informed and intentional choices.

As your doula, I will help you to navigate the options and weigh the risks of various choices, allowing you to choose your optimal path with intention.

It is an honor and a miracle to be there when a baby is born, supporting the mother and ensuring her experience is as good as it can possibly be.

If you are pregnant, or even just thinking about trying, I offer services for conception planning, pregnancy, labor, delivery support, and postpartum support.

Why I am a doula.

I never thought I would become a doula, until I gave birth to my first child.

The experience was so impactful. I learned how beneficial it is to be educated before and supported during the process.

I have always been fascinated by the human body, what it can do, and the magic ways it can grow, heal, and strengthen. I studied health and physical education in school and loved working as a personal trainer, helping clients set and achieve their fitness goals.

With this experience and knowledge of the body’s ability to perform, I can prepare you for the marathon that is the pregnancy and birthing process.

I offer customized packages and payment plans to meet your needs as you prepare for birthing and beyond, starting at $700 for the base service

Services Offered

  • Onboarding (free) - 30 mins video call to review your current state and plans for your pregnancy.

  • Pre-labor Visit(s) - House visit(s) to review your birthing plan and make preparations for the big day.

  • Birthing Support - In-person (hand-in-hand) support as you go through active labor.

  • Postpartum Visit - House visit(s) to provide support and help you settle into the new family dynamic

  • Text Support - You may ask any and all questions along the way.
